 Who are You?

How can you tell your story if you do not know who you are? Marriages and businesses fail because there is no direction to link with an identity. Many go through life going through the motions and living from one disaster to the next and never understand why they never feel successful within themselves.

Whether you connected the dots or not, who you are matters to resonate purpose in life and clarity to identify with a job, business or mission depends on how your story relates or touches the lives of those who enter your life or those who seek direction.

When we are too young, we think success is money or fame. When we are adults and sift through the challenges, much depends on how we respond to situations. If you can put pride and ego aside, you are stepping up and taking responsibility for your actions. But, if accumulated resentment and mistakes are masters over your mind, you will always be out of control, and disaster is sure to follow. Sometimes we need to let failure unfolds, especially when warnings fall on deaf ears and the self-important attitude cloud the mind of selfish behavior. Either the individual will learn from their mistakes and rectify them or be the bigger person to apologize for their self-created destruction. But either way, it is self-examination to realize that you are living a lie, and selfish of you to impose that lie on someone else's life with self-projection blame. If you only wish to be correct, you cannot be a friend, husband, wife, or parent because you aim to win no matter the cost of harm to those you should protect and love.

Clarity comes with the calm of soul searching, forgiveness and guilt-free from past and error because we are human and seek the divine truth. It connects us on a higher level of reality to have faith and believe that God granted our prayer to enjoy an actual existence. I am not perfect, and no doubt will still go through trial and error, but I know who I am and where my heart's desire can serve best. Please, be kind to yourself and do not shoulder a heavy burden so, let go of any ill feelings because hate destroys, and you will never have love and the respect you deserve. Build your life to create a story you can share with pride of the person you want to reflect and inspire others with your whole heart filled with care, joy and love with better things to share.
